The Kuwaiti national team surprises his Emirati competitor in the decisive game qualifying for the fourth place, after his win at the end of the preliminary stage 70/65, where the white team was likely to compete for the bronze medal compared to the modest performance of the blue team in the first three stages, which were compensated in the last two stages by two deserved winnings over the national teams of Saudi Arabia and Emirates. Owing to this result the blue team goes up to meet the Qatari team, the third in ranking, and compete for the bronze medal in the closing day Thursday after tomorrow, whereas the Algerian and Egyptian national teams will meet to determine the champion of the 19th version.

The precedence in the first three quarters was for Kuwait, with a late awakening of Emirates in the last quarter, when the latter was influenced by injury of Captain/ Abdelaziz Khalifa, the scorer of the game with 20 points who was absent in the last 4 minutes of the second quarter, then came back in the beginning of the fourth quarter after treatment. If it was not for this emergency absence, the game was to be completely different, because of the crucial role of Azuz in all the games. On the other hand, the Algeriannational team strengthened his position on the top of ranking with 10 points without defeats when he beat the Saudi national team, the sixth and the last, with score 69/29.
