The second camp for Arab referees has been inaugurated today morning in Cairo Stadium Press Center. The camp is organized by the Arab Federation with the participation of 85 referees. Brigadier/ Abdallah Shalabi, General secretary of the Arab Federation said that the federation did not look for profit through these studies, but they only care for providing support for the Arab officiating system until it reaches the highest continental and international standards. He also conveyed the regards of Major General/ Ismail El-Qirqawy, Chairman of both the Arab and the Emirati Basketball Federation along with his instructions to intensify the officiating courses in order to raise the standard of the Arab referees. He added that the current course was conveyed to all the Arab Federations via the site of the Arab Federation, and would be available for everyone as a feedback. He also stated that course will be ended tomorrow Wednesday with four lectures, one of which is practical in the venue of El-Zohour, and that Major General/ Ismail El-Qirqawy will distribute the certificates on the learners.
