Major General/ Ismail El-Qirqawy, Chairman of both the Arab and the Emirati Basketball Federation declared the Egyptian national team the Champion of the Arab Youth Championship, after his well-deserved win over his Algerian competitor scoring 76/64, to restore his reputation after his defeat in preliminary, gaining the title no. 11 and the biggest score of titles after the 19th version that came to a close in the venue of El-Zohour Club in Cairo. The score of the quarters were as follows: 18/12, 16/14, 21/19, 21/19.
In the game of determining the third and fourth places, Qatar defeated Kuwait with score of 49/24, and hence gained the bronze medal.
