Al-Ittihad of Alexandria and Kazma of Kuwait qualified for the quarter-finals of Arab Basketball, which is currently being held in Kuwait, after their victory over Al-Gharafa of Qatar and Wedad Boufarik of Algeria in the round of 16, the first stage of which was held today.

Major General Ismail Al-Karkawi, President of the Arab and UAE Basketball Federations, arrived in Kuwait today to attend the final rounds of the tournament, where he was received by Abdul Rahman Al-Khabbaz, Secretary of the Kuwaiti Basketball Association, and Ahmed Al-Kous, Chairman of the Public Relations and Hospitality Committee.
